Danielle Buckleman, LCSW-R, CASAC, is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Credentialed Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Counselor, who graduated from Fordham University with a Master of Social Work Degree, with a specialization in substance use services, in 2008. Danielle has extensive experience in working with adults, living with dual-diagnosis of mental health conditions, and substance use disorders, and is an expert in providing recovery oriented services.

Danielle has extensive experience in providing therapeutic treatment in a variety of settings, including, working with adults, adolescents, and families, and has facilitated many mental health and substance use, group therapy services. Danielle has experience working in in-patient rehabilitation facilities, as well as outpatient mental health and substance use clinics. Danielle has experience in working with individuals who struggle with anger management issues, legal entanglements, intimate partner violence, and family conflict.

Danielle has experience in working with individuals who have a history of depression, anxiety, trauma, relationship issues, family conflict, self-esteem issues, and anger management issues. Danielle is well-versed in cognitive behavioral therapy, psychodynamic/talk therapy, safety planning and risk assessment.

Danielle has a personable and friendly demeanor, coupled with a strong and protective nature, for the client’s she serves, instilling values of accountability, and self-advocacy, and modeling the hope and passion needed, to assist others in finding inspiration in their own journey and recovery.

Danielle’s wit, charm, and nurturing nature, provide for an understanding approach, as she is able to develop strong relationships with her clients. Danielle’s priority is to create a welcoming space for those she works with, and for her client’s to develop self-trust, find hope, and create a positive path forward, in their own life and recovery.

Outside of work, Danielle enjoys spending quality time with her husband, and two children, and pet dog.
