My priority is to create a welcoming space for those I work with, and to guide clients as they begin to develop self-trust, find hope and create a meaningful path forward in their lives. I work collaboratively with my clients to instill values of accountability and self-advocacy, modeling the hope and passion needed to assist others in finding inspiration in their own journey and recovery.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Credentialed Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Counselor. I hold a Master of Social Work Degree from Fordham University, with a specialization in substance use services. I have experience working in a variety of settings, including inpatient rehabilitation, outpatient mental health and substance use clinics. Having worked with individuals experiencing depression, anxiety, trauma, relationship issues, family conflict and who struggle with self-esteem and anger management, my approach incorporates cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), narrative and psychodynamic therapies. Additionally, I am well-versed in safety planning and risk assessment.
My understanding approach and nurturing nature allow me to create a truly safe space for my clients. Within it, we can collaboratively work towards your goals, one step at a time.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending quality time with my husband, two children and dog.
